KART M14 EBR Airsoft Sniper Rifle Review

gp-ebr-m14kitThe latest marvel in the M14 series is the EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle) and the KART M14 EBR Airsoft Sniper Rifle is a rifle that has all the characteristics and needs for a rifle and the price too makes this rifle popular among shooters. The EBR is the results of the US SOCOM's project of US Navy Special Forces (SEAL) of the modernized battle rifle. Kart M14 EBR is probably a rival for the other released Airsoft rifles such as the M14 and the Socom. Every Airsoft rifle that you purchase comes in a Styrofoam box which helps protect the Airsoft gun in the transport and delivery process.

As you hold the rifle for the first time, you will experience a bit of a rattle among its parts and clearly, the rifle needs some manual tightening from you every now and then. The tightening doesn’t take long as all you would need to spare is some ten minutes and some elbow grease. The rifle has a hidden battery space under its plastic fore grip. The original Kart M14 comes with a 9.6V battery. One thing about the Kart M14 EBR is the process of changing the battery as you would need to remove the three Allen screws to be able to remove the hand guard.

The rear sight of the rifle can be adjusted with two dials which allows adjustments for windage and elevation. When adjustment is done, you can hear a soft click. However, as the rifle is made for precision shooting platform, hence there is plenty of space to mount optics. The rifle also comes equipped with stripper clip sight base which replaces the stripper clip guide. With this, shooters have the option for line mounting the optics with magnification.

The bolt of the rifle is functional but not the bolt catch. The M14 EBR has a fast bolt and locks into the front position with a noticeable clank. The rifle is also generally heavy and it comes with a good sling. The chassis of the rifle is fully prepared for sling installation with the rear sling portion comes with attachments having ears on the right and left. As for the front sling attachment, it is on the common location of any rifle which is on the left side of the chassis. But if you like it to be on the right, then all you would need to do is unscrew it and attach it to the right. You wouldn’t need to buy a sling as the sling is one of the first accessories that come with the rifle.

Another integral part of the rifle is the cheek pad and shooters will be glad to know that the cheek pad is comfortable and can be adjusted to whatever height that you would like it to be in. Overall the rifle is heavy and the sling needs to be changed to a better quality version as the one that came with the rifle is soft and of lower quality. Comparative to other rifles, the advantage with the M14 EBR is that is has a fully adjustable stock and this makes full use of the sights and optical devices to its fullest advantage. Also, the Airsoft rifle’s muzzle is heavy and puts a lot of strain on your support hand. The M14 EBR is overall a pretty good rifle and it is affordable as well with no major problems.

  1. Wow I was completely unaware that they made Airsoft Sniper Rifles this advanced, it looks so real, and weights in at a whopping 14 pounds. I watched the video, it gives a really through explanation of all the features that the KART M14 Airsoft Sniper Rifle has to offer.

  2. I must say this airsoft sniper rifle sounds like a mean equipment, especially since its a project of the US Navy SEALS. I’m just wondering if it’s suitable for a beginner like me. Also, since it’s heavy, would it be suitable for a female shooter? But overall, I think this rifle is a good choice for the more experienced shooters out there.

  3. This airsoft sniper rifle looks like it is made for war. It is like in the war movies that I see being used by the navies to combat all the bad elements that it is trying to do harmful things on the country.

I think that this riffle simply rocks.

  4. This airsoft sniper rifle looks so much like the real thing. If I remember correctly, the original M14 weighed in around 14 pounds so this is pretty real. Great rifle that is affordable. Perfect combination.

  5. This is a good rifle to choose if you like customizing various parts of an airsoft sniper rifle. I’m not big on tweaking it, but I do like this gun. It’s quite heavy, but at least it feels like the real thing when you’re holding it.

I agree that they cut costs on the sling, when I used one, the sling on it was actually missing, and looking at the review, I doubt it was stolen

  6. This airsoft sniper riffle is made to look like the M16 which the armies are currently using. I wonder if this design would help the user to become better when they are playing airsoft.

I don’t think that this will really help when it comes to he game. It is depended on the skill of the individual.

  7. M14 sniper rifles are commonly used and are more of a standard one when it comes to airsoft games. We had used M14 almost most of the time but haven’t really used the EBR specification.

I think M14 EBR is a refined version of the existing M14 airsoft sniper rifle with more enhanced features.

  8. this rifle seems to be a win for stronger shooters. however, when i was a bit younger, i doubt i could have used this weapon very effectivly in combat, due to the weight. but i would very much enjoy using this weapon now.

  9. Me and my family love air-soft and all of us adore my bros Glock look-alike. I believe assuming that you happen to be cautious, air-soft can be a good recreation and can instruct juvenile children firearm safety…safely.

  10. The Shoei is somewhat astounding however , at $1800, it truly is a touch high for my blood, as well. I might instead have the Classic Army minigun though.

  11. i bought this gun last year, the pistol grip was wobbly as well as the mag, the gun itself broke after a day, but it might have just been mine. Im more of an smg person who uses speed over strength, so ya as the above comment says it is great if you are stronger.
